Privacy Policy

Effective date / last updated: October 26, 2026

Lake Charles Crane Quotes ("we", "us", "our") is a free crane-rental quote-request and referral service. It is operated by Kolob Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, as part of its Kolob LeadForge portfolio.

We do not own or operate cranes. When you ask for a quote, we send your request to one independent local crane company (a "Partner") that can quote the job.

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us in the quote form. Name, company (optional), phone number, email address, job site address and city, job type, load weight, lift height, lift radius, ground conditions, whether power lines are nearby, preferred dates, and any notes or links you include. We also record that you checked the consent box and when you submitted the form.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request.

Analytics (if enabled). If we use Google Analytics, it uses cookies or similar technology to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not send the contents of the quote form (such as your name, phone, email, or address) to Google Analytics.

Spam protection (if enabled). If we use Cloudflare Turnstile on the quote form, Cloudflare processes signals from your browser and device to tell people apart from automated bots.

2. How we use your information

• To review your quote request and send it to one Partner that can quote it.
• To contact you about your request, if needed.
• To keep records of requests we have referred, including for billing and resolving questions with Partners.
• To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To comply with the law and protect our rights.

We do not use your quote request to send you unrelated marketing.

3. How we share your information

With one Partner. We send each quote request to one independent crane company. When you submit the form, you agree that we may share your request with that Partner and that the Partner may contact you by phone or email about that request. The Partner handles your information under its own privacy practices, not this policy.

Referral fees. Partners may pay us a referral fee. That is how the service stays free for you. When we share your request with a Partner, it is to get you the quote you asked for, not to sell your information.

With service providers that help us run the site, only as needed to provide their services to us:

• Vercel — website hosting and secure storage of quote requests.
• Resend — delivery of internal email notifications about new requests.
• Google — website analytics, if enabled.
• Cloudflare — spam protection on the quote form, if enabled.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If Kolob Labs LLC or this site is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner, who must use it consistent with this policy.

We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it with anyone other than as described above.

4. Cookies and your controls

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works without analytics cookies.

5. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months from submission so we can follow up on the request and resolve any questions with Partners. We delete them sooner if you ask, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.

Information already sent to a Partner is held by that Partner under its own practices. If you ask us to delete your request, we will also let the Partner know about your request.

6. Security

We store quote requests in private, access-restricted storage, and the site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we have about you,
• correct it, or
• delete it.

Call (337) 426-9687 or email ryan@koloblabs.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

This site is for businesses and adults arranging crane work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. United States only

This site is intended for users in the United States and is not directed to people in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere outside the U.S. Information is stored and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top. Changes apply from the date posted.
