Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of Lake Charles Crane Quotes (the "Site") and its quote-request service. The Site is operated by Kolob Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Kolob Labs", "we", "us"). By using the Site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What we are
Lake Charles Crane Quotes is a free crane-rental quote-request and referral service. We take your request and send it to one independent local crane company (a "Partner") that can quote the job.
We are not a crane company. We do not own, rent, operate, or maintain cranes or rigging equipment, and we do not employ crane operators, riggers, or signal persons. We do not perform, plan, supervise, or inspect any lift.
2. Your agreement for the work is with the Partner
We are not a party to any agreement for crane services. Any quote, rental, lift plan, price, schedule, insurance, permit, site safety, or other obligation for the work is solely between you and the Partner.
You are not obligated to accept any quote. You are responsible for deciding whether to hire a Partner and for checking their licensing, insurance, equipment, and qualifications before you do.
3. Referral fees
Partners may pay us a fee for referrals. Using the Site costs you nothing. Referral fees do not make us responsible for a Partner's work.
4. Information on the Site is general
Price ranges, permit summaries, regulatory notes, and other content on the Site are general information only. They are not quotes, guarantees, or legal, engineering, or safety advice, and they may be incomplete or out of date. Confirm the requirements for your job with the Partner and with the relevant authorities, such as OSHA, your state department of transportation, local permitting offices, the FAA, and your utility.
5. Your submissions
When you submit a quote request, you agree that:
- the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
- you are authorized to request the work, or to request it on behalf of the business you name;
- you will not submit another person's personal information without their permission; and
- you will not submit false, spam, or abusive requests or try to interfere with the Site.
By submitting a request, you also agree that we may share it with one Partner who may contact you by phone or email about that request. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
6. No warranties
The Site and the service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We do not guarantee that a Partner will respond, be available, quote a particular price, or perform the work well, safely, or in compliance with the law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, work, equipment, pricing, or conduct of any Partner, or for any property damage, personal injury, delay, or loss arising from crane work arranged through the Site.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, even if we were told they were possible.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service. The service is free to you, so you have paid us $0.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
8. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Kolob Labs from claims arising out of inaccurate or unauthorized information you submit or your violation of these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, layout, and the Lake Charles Crane Quotes name, belong to Kolob Labs or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use in arranging crane work. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or sell Site content without our written permission.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top. Using the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
